About Daniel

Daniel Edwin D’Angelo’s unwavering love for the unloved manifests itself in his film work, through meticulously crafted, unreal narratives that are rooted in lived experiences. He is an award winning masculine nonbinary audio-video artist with a passion for intersectional narratives focusing on embracing “the othered.” Conceptually, he gravitates towards abstract concepts of human existence, especially concerning the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities to which he belongs.

Through a balance of psychological horror and absurdist humor, D’Angelo exaggerates typically internalized experiences or generally accepted social concepts, driving his viewer towards  the uncanny valley. D’Angelo utilizes physical performance, asynchronous editing, and disruptive sound design to create his narratives.
